Redbirds of the past, present and future have the opportunity to support local children through the school supply activities of the Back to School Alliance this summer. The driving force is the partnership between alumni participation, the Citizen Participation Center (CCE), and university colleges.

All donations will be donated to the Back to School Alliance (BTSA). BTSA is a local non-profit organization dedicated to delivering backpacks and school supplies to students in need before the start of the school year.

"As part of our Welcome Week service program, we have been cooperating with the Back-to-School Alliance for many years," said Annie Weaver, Assistant Director of the CCE Joint Curriculum Program. "However, their donations this year are very short, so we hope that our supply drivers can help them meet the growing demand in our community."

A list of consumables is available on the BTSA website, which is also listed below. Local donations can be sent to the Alumni Participation Office (1101 N. Main St., Normal) or Citizen Participation Center (300 W. North St., Normal) at the Alumni Center between 8 am and 4:30 in the afternoon, Monday to week. five. An Amazon wish list is also provided, and the goods are shipped directly to BTSA.
