Do you like to sketch wherever you go? If so, you might enjoy joining watercolor artist Brenna Kohlhase on Saturday, August 20 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. in Cook. Brenna will help students make a personalized watercolor journal from scratch and fill it with Arches 140-pound paper, provided by the instructor.

It is a full-day class that will include discussion about color theory, and students will make a shade diagram and color wheel to use during practice.

Students should bring some recycled leather, a used U.S. Postal Service Tyvek mailer, blue jeans, matte board or other heavy paper or fabric with which to design your own cover. Cereal boxes covered with fabric work well. Please bring your favorite watercolor brush and an apron if you have one.

All other supplies, including bookbinding glue, paper and paint will be supplied for the class which will be held at NWFA Gallery at 210 S. River Street in Cook (located adjacent and set back from Dreamweaver Spa and Salon).
